Jomar phases out smallest model, presents opportunity to purchase machines at discount

Jomar Corp has decided to officially phase out the smallest machine in its line of products, the Model 15, in favor of the larger Model 25.

“Jomar is always responding to the needs of its customers” said Ron Gabriele, Global sales and Marketing Manager for Jomar.  “We received numerous requests from customers who needed more cavities on a small machine to stay ahead of the competition, yet were not ready to commit financially to our larger machines. Hence we built the Model 25, which has been very successful in emerging markets and converters who are new to injection blow.”

Jomar will continue to support and service the Model 15 machines that are currently in production around the world, but will not purchase any more frames for this machine. Jomar has several Model 15 frames in stock and is now aggressively pricing the Model 15.

“The Model 15 has proven to be a very capable machine that has tremendous output for a machine of its size. For LDPE droppers, it’s possible to have 6 cavities with a cycle time of about 10 seconds. That yields over 2,000 parts per hour “ added Gabriele. “We’re not phasing out the Model 15 due to any problems with the machine, this is evolution at work. Today’s customers want more cavitation and we found a way to deliver”.

The opportunity to purchase a new Model 15 for up to 15% below list price exists through the end of the year.
